Hitchhikin' Mutt
Placed: 4/27/08
Location: Bill Frederick Park, Orlando, FL
Status: Alive & Alone!
Hand-carved by RTRW
You may know about our Dog Walk Series, where we invited the boxing public to place a dog(s) of their choice adding to the 3 original dogs that we first placed. Today, there are well over 30 puppies there and a few other animals as well!
RTRW gifted us a crazy little dog at the recent Berlin gathering that we thought would be perfect in this dog park but as we were packing for our recent Florida trip at the end of April, this darn fool apparently jumped into our backpack and came with us!
Imagine our surprise when we were unpacking in the House of the Mouse and found him with that weird, sheepish grin on his face! What were we to do? Send him home? Once we calmed down, we thought of a perfect solution!
Sue & I figured that if he wanted to come to Florida; he would stay in Florida! Please check in on him from time-to-time for us and leave him a treat! He really is a good little dog!
Clue:
This mutt heard some farm animal noises and headed to their parking lot.
Once there, he took the path to the left of "No Dogs" (shameful!) and "Handicapped Parking."
He walked and took his first right (apparently looking for a free meal!)
Then he took his first left (looking for us; realizing that he never should have come on the trip and what a bad boy he really was!)
And finally, worn out and tired, he went to sleep by the stump.
